The Cocora Valley, it is a natural area located on a hilly plateau of the Central Cordillera of the Colombian Andes, more exactly in the department of Quindío, Colombia. This place belongs to Los Nevados National Natural Park. It is the main home of the national tree of Colombia, the wax palm (Ceroxylon quindiuense), and also a great diversity of flora and fauna in danger of extinction, sheltered under the state of natural national park.

The National Coffee Park is a Colombian theme park located in the municipality of Montenegro, Quindío, Colombia. This was founded in 1995 by the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia and the Departmental Committee of Coffee Growers of the Quindío. The Botanical Garden of the Quindío, Calarca, is an important pole of scientific exploration and environmental training. This garden holds one of the largest collections of butterflies of Colombia and the earth. It was the first legitimately instituted of Colombia. It was founded in 1978 by Alberto Gómez Mejía, the Organization Oikos, the University of Quindío and the Gardening Club of Armenia, in response to the proposition made by the teacher Jesús M. 

The garden was opened to the public on 16 December 2000 and since then has made an effective leadership in the Eco-tourism in the region. Thanks to the support of the citizenry and the assistance of many individuals and entities, the Garden is self sustaining and has met significant works of advice in other areas of the country in the elements that are their specialty being a Butterfly Garden.

The Gold Museum Quimbaya, whose construction is a diagram of the Rogelio Salmona, boasts an excellent and varied archaeological collection that dates back 10,000 years to the pre-Hispanic art and the work of the indigenous peoples of the Quindío. After the modification of the chambers of gold and ceramics in 2003, the collection was enlarged and improved, on the basis of hard inquiries museum.

he Cemetery free of Alder Creek is located in the outskirts of the village on the way to Montenegro. It was established in 1933 by Braulio Botero as a site in which any person could be buried, without regard to their religious beliefs or lack of them. 

The cemetery is today a symbol of freedom and equality. In the last few years has had a few small arrangements, as in the earthquake of 1999 that affected a large part of the eje cafetero the cemetery had some faults on the outside and inside.

Just 100 meters from the Founders, on the Avenida Bolívar, the most significant of Armenia, is the Park of Life.
